Vertical Asymptotes and Infinite Limits

 If $f(x)$ approaches infinity (or negative infinity) as Failed to parse (Conversion error. Server ("https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_") reported: "Cannot get mml. Server problem."): {\displaystyle x}

 from the right or from the left, then the line

Example: Find the a vertical Asymptotes as below:

1) $f(x)={\frac {x+3}{x^{2}-4}}$

Solution:
Notice $f(x){\frac {x+3}{x^{2}-4}}={\frac {x+3}{(x-2)(x+2)}}$
Let the denominator equals to zero, ie: $(x-2)(x+2)=0$, hence $x=-2$ or $x=2$
Therefore, $f(x)$ has vertical asymptotes at $x=2$ and $x=-2$

Solution:
